Dear Music Sacra Family,
Musica Sacra must unfortunately postpone its Carnegie Hall performance of Handel’s Messiah scheduled for Tuesday, December 21 at 7:30 PM, due to a small number of positive COVID-19 test results among members of our performing ensemble. Musica Sacra will perform on another date at Carnegie Hall later this season. While we are disappointed to not be able to perform, we also understand that the safety of our artists and audience must always be our top priority.
Ticketholders are asked to retain their December 21 tickets, which will be honored at our new performance date to be announced. Everyone will be notified of the new date as soon as plans are confirmed. In the meanwhile, questions from ticketholders can be directed to CarnegieCharge at 212-247-7800 or via email to email@example.com. Questions from ticketholders that purchased through Musica Sacra’s website can be directed to 862-352-9509 or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We thank you for your understanding and wish you a happy and healthy holiday season.
Musica Sacra returns to Carnegie Hall to present a dynamic performance of Handel’s Messiah alongside a stellar cast of soloists and the Musica Sacra Orchestra, complete with baroque bows and a focus on period performance practices. Don’t miss our triumphant Hallelujah and Worthy is the Lamb!
