Classics for Christmas

Musica Sacra celebrates the magic of the season at Carnegie Hall. Soprano Kathryn Lewek joins for the “Glory to God” sequence and “Rejoice greatly” from Handel’s Messiah and sings Adam’s Cantique de Noël. Metropolitan Opera harpist Mariko Anraku performs in Handel’s Concerto for Harp in B-flat Major. This festive evening also includes choral selections from Bach’s Mass in B Minor and Rachmaninoff’s Vespers, plus works by Corelli, Poulenc, Helena Paish and Thompson.
